DR VIJAY KUMAR MATHUR

Dr. Vijay Kumar Mathur is an accomplished art historian with an MA and Ph.D. in history. He has conducted extensive research on Indian art at the National Museum in New Delhi and has traveled widely, visiting art museums across Russia, Belgium, Poland, France, Thailand, and Pakistan. The Indian Council for Cultural Relations sent him to Pakistan in 1992 to select art objects for a classical art exhibition at the National Museum in New Delhi for the First South Asian Festival of SAARC countries.

Dr. Mathur has authored several notable books, including Indian Art, Art and Culture under the Sungas, and Marvels of Kishangarh Paintings. Currently, he serves as a museologist and art historian, specializing in art history and museology.
